Genie joined Five Oaks Academy in 2007 and began teaching in 1994. She serves as the Lead Toddler Program Directress. Genie holds an AMS 3-6 certification in Primary with an emphasis in Toddler Education from Lander University. She is affiliated with South Carolina Montessori Alliance (SCMA). Genie previously substitute taught for Greenville County Public Schools in the Special Education classrooms. Genie is a member of the Curriculum Council.
