Lead Lower Elementary Program Directress
Kim joined Five Oaks Academy in 2007 and began teaching in 2005. She serves as the Lead Lower Elementary Program Directress and teaches in the Lower Elementary I classroom. She attended the University of Mary Washington and received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology. She holds an AMS 6-9 certification in Lower Elementary from the Institute for Advanced Montessori Studies (IAMS) in Silver Spring, Maryland. She is affiliated with South Carolina Montessori Alliance (SCMA), the American Montessori Society (AMS), and International Montessori Council (IMC). Kim has presented at SCMA conference. Kim previously taught at Odyssey Montessori in Fredericksburg, Virginia and is a member of the Curriculum Council.
