Laura is a founding member of Five Oaks Academy circa. 2003. She is a Toddler and Lunch and Learn Directress. She attended the University of South Carolina, Spartanburg, and received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Child Psychology. She holds an AMS 3-6 certification in Primary from the Montessori Teacher Training Institute (MTTI) in Clemson, South Carolina. She also holds a 6-9 Lower Elementary certification from Montessori Educational Programs International (MEPI), Institute for Guided Studies in Camden, South Carolina. She is affiliated with South Carolina Montessori Alliance (SCMA) and Montessori Educational Programs International (MEPI). Laura previously taught at Montessori West.
