Molly joined Five Oaks Academy in 2006 and began teaching in 1993.  She serves as the Lead Upper Elementary Program Directress and Five Oaks Academy Curriculum Director. She attended Queens University in Charlotte and received a Master of Fine Arts Degree in Creative Writing in Poetry. She also attended the University of South Carolina and received a Bachelor of Arts in Interdisciplinary Studies in Natural Sciences and Fine Arts with an Emphasis in Elementary Education.  She holds an AMS certification in Lower Elementary 6-9 and Upper Elementary 9-12 from the Institute of Advanced Montessori Studies (IAMS), and a South Carolina Teaching certificate. She is affiliated with South Carolina Montessori Alliance (SCMA), the American Montessori Society (AMS), and International Montessori Council (IMC). She has presented at the Maryland Association of Independent Schools (MAIS) and is a regular presenter at the annual SCMA conferences. Molly previously taught at the Montessori School of Anderson, the Barrie School in Silver Spring, Maryland, Spruce Pine Montessori in Spruce Pine, North Carolina, Spiral Mountain School in Spruce Pine, North Carolina, and Horrell Hill Elementary in Hopkins, South Carolina. Molly is a member of the Five Oaks Academy Curriculum Council.
