Have you noticed the FOA faculty wearing pedometers? If so, here’s why.

Movement Matters is a challenge encouraging everyone to stay active over the holidays by reaching a goal of 50,000 steps per week.  From Toddlers to Administration each group is a separate team. We believe that this is a simple and encouraging way for the Faculty to be aware of how much they move on a daily basis and what changes they may need to make when it comes to getting out and being active. It does not take much to add steps to our day and with the pedometer it makes it fun to see them add up. It is easy to forget to take care of ourselves and this challenge brings us together in achieving a healthier lifestyle. We at Five Oaks want our Faculty to be healthy and we believe this can be accomplished in a small way like this.
