Megan holds bachelor’s and master’s degrees in English. She was a classroom teacher for over 20 years at the elementary, middle, high school, and college levels. During these years, she recognized many students who struggled with reading and writing. and decided to devote her work to reading and writing intervention. She has completed her coursework in Orton-Gillingham. She has two children, Marie (18), and Jack (10), and enjoys reading, ceramics, hiking, acting, and attending live music events. Megan is also a writer and a regular contributor to Talk Greenville magazine, and she published her first novel in 2019.
