Alejandra brings a rich background in childcare and behavioral expertise to Five Oaks Academy, joining as a Lower Elementary Directress in 2026. She spent 17 years in Miami raising her three daughters, where she also earned her certification as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) and completed complementary training in teaching students with Autism through Miami Dade College. “Understanding why a child does something is the first step to helping them thrive, that’s what drew me to Montessori,” she says. This blend of childcare experience and behavioral expertise gives Alejandra a deep, practical understanding of how children learn, self-regulate, and grow. She is currently completing her Montessori certification through the North American Montessori Center (NAMC). Alejandra is bilingual in English and Spanish, and believes every child deserves to be seen, understood, and given room to grow at their own pace.
