Shelby Tonkin is excited to join Five Oaks Academy as a Primary Directress. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education, along with a Master’s degree in Education and an AMS Montessori certification from Lander University. Her love for Montessori began as a student and inspired her to become a teacher. Since then, working in Montessori primary classrooms has strengthened her passion for creating a space where children feel safe, supported, and excited to learn.
