Amanda joined Five Oaks Academy in 2025 and serves as a Lower Elementary I Directress. She graduated from Barrett, The Honors College at Arizona State University, with a Bachelor of Arts in both English Literature and Art Studies. Amanda previously worked as an assistant preschool teacher for two years at Our Lady of Mount Carmel in Tempe and as an after-school Literacy Program Coach with Read Better Be Better. While at ASU, she was a member of the Founder’s Lab, where she developed a children’s reading app called Page Pilot and was accepted into the New Venture Challenge Program. Through these experiences, Amanda discovered her passion for innovative approaches to education and developed a deep affinity for the Montessori Method.
