Jill is a founding member of Five Oaks Academy circa. 2003, began her teaching career in 1996 and currently serves as the Assistant Director. Jill participated in art studies programs at Tempo Gallery, Furman University, Julia Peters Gallery, and the Patti Brady Gallery. She is affiliated with South Carolina Montessori Alliance (SCMA) and has presented at SCMA and International Montessori Foundation conferences. Jill previously taught at Montessori West, where she was also the Assistant Director of Finance, the Greenville County Museum of Art, Spartanburg County Library Systems, and Inman Elementary. Jill is a member of the Curriculum Council and is the South Carolina Independent School Association (SCISA) Activities Director for Five Oaks.
